Vision Executives are experts in international recruitment for the eyecare industry and we have partnered exclusively with a global leader in surgical medical devices for ophthalmology. Our clients are looking for an expert in the sales of their Vitreoretinal surgical products across Germany. This position will be responsible for the sales of the VR portfolio while also supporting in sales and applications of their full portfolio which covers other areas of ophthalmic surgery.
Our multi-national clients are well-established and well-funded company with a great reputation for quality and innovation. You will be part of continued international expansion for the company and will be part of their direct sales team in Germany where they have a distribution facility based in North Rhine Westphalia.
For this position you can be based anywhere in Germany but must be able to travel nationally at least 3 days per week to meet with surgeons in their clinics and support them with product training in the operating room.
While the main function of this role is growing the VR business through increasing sales you will also need to be able to coach and train surgeons on the use of the specialist products in the portfolio. As such a consultative selling style would be a great fit for this position.
