National vitreoretinal surgery specialist

Vision Executives are experts in international recruitment for the eyecare industry and we have partnered exclusively with a UK Supplier of surgical ophthalmology products to find them an expert in the sales of VR products.​

You will be joining a well-established business who have a small sales team with a great reputation who you will be working with and supporting while selling high quality and innovative products. This role will be responsible for advising and teaching customers on the technical aspects of these products. As such, it would be beneficial if you have experience in retinal surgery and come with a loyal KOL network.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Using product knowledge to train and inform clinicians on various products in accordance with global guidelines and compliance. This will include being present in the operating theatre where necessary to ensure customers full understanding
• Develop the VR business across the UK through advocation and product training
• Engaging new / potential customers in the product portfolio
• Collaboration with colleagues to follow leads in order to gain any potential new business and raise awareness of the brand

You will need the following skills & experiences:

• Proven sales and / or clinical applications experience in the eyecare industry
• Experience in Vitreoretinal surgery
• Operating Room/Theatre experience with knowledge and understanding of global guidelines and compliance
• Experience working in a start-up style environment with the independence to go and find new business opportunities
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to help grow the wider business long term
• Existing KOL network regionally or nationally
