Vision Executives are experts in International Recruitment for the eyecare industry and we have partnered exclusively with a global leader in ophthalmic diagnostics and software solutions who are looking for a National Sales and Business Development Manager UK to drive the growth for their Healthcare IT Solutions division by selling complex healthcare software in the field of eye care.
Your challenge is to maximize sales and profitability by expanding and managing a strong network in the digital health landscape of our partnerships within optical retailers, clinics and hospitals. By building trusting partnerships, you will leverage best practices and accelerate our business. 

We are looking for a person who can:

  • Visit and meet virtually with stakeholders that are relevant in relation to successful contract management and building partnerships
  • Identify and address needs of key stakeholders and develop winning value propositions, tailored to the various target groups, and based on an added value for our health care partners
  • Carry the responsibility for preparing, achieving, and extending contracts and tenders
  • Monitor the commercial performance based on the criteria as set in the agreements, and pro-actively influence cross-functionally the development of competitive customer-based solutions
  • Provide feedback to the product management team as well as training and education of our partners and customers
  • Reach goals, meet deadlines, and take responsibility of the results in your region
  • Working with the UK Sales Director to provide support and direct management for dedicated software sales team and provide day to day management of our solutions business


You will need:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in either IT or eye/health care technology sales (B2B) and business development. Existing network in eye care industry and/or experience of selling into the NHS is desired but not essential
  • Experience of PACs EMR or PMS sales would be advantageous as would SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability in managing either a territory or key account customers
  • grow business independently
  • Technologically oriented and solution seeking mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and fluent in English
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Previous experience in leading a small team is desired but not essential
