HR / Talent Acquisition manager - germany

We have recently partnered with a leading Opthalmic Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals manufacturer who are seeking a HR / Talent Acquisition Manager to join their team. This exciting role is to be based out of Germany. 
The organisation are a leading developer and manufacturer of Ophthalmic Implants and Pharmaceuticals. An opportunity has arisen in which they're looking for a commercially focussed HR Manager to join their global HR team. This role is based out of their German office and reports into the HR Director. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the HR primarily in the DACH region. Provide HR support to other European regions when required. 
  • Full cycle recruitment including: job briefing with hiring managers, tailoring job descriptions, posting roles, researching and sourcing candidates, screening, interview scheduling, interviewing, negotiations and extending an offer. 
  • Manage recruitment, selection and onboarding of new individuals into the organisation in accordance with business growth plans. 
  • Instil hiring initiatives with the direct sourcing strategy to identify the best candidates, whilst building and maintaining a network of top talent.
  • Actively drive centralised HR projects and initiatives within the region.
  • Engage all staff employed and ensure all systems are in place to manage payroll, taxes, social security and benefits. 
  • Management of company car fleet and other mobility benefits for the DACH region. 

Experience
Essential:
  • Fluent in German & English language, written and spoken 
  • Demonstrable recruitment experience 
  • Graduate with relevant business degree or HR 
  • Proven track record of ability to build relationships quickly, establish trust with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Proficient in using ATS systems (implemented in 2021), MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and HR IS system
  • Social network expertise (LinkedIn recruiter)

Desirable:
  • 3rd European language
  • Experience gained with the Ophthalmology or medical devices industry

  • Able to navigate changing priorities and demands from within the region.
  • Is Dynamic, self-motivated and resilient person who is able to work confidently. 
  • Possesses and professional can-do attitude with excellent communication skills. 
  • Will be a team player and able to contribute within a global remote team. Adaptable and comfortable navigating changing priorities.
