DISTRIBUTION SALES MANAGER - APAC

Our client is a global leader in surgical ophthalmic devices who is looking for someone to continue to establish grow their distribution business in the APAC region. This is a great opportunity to join a multi national company and work with international distribution partners across a well established region that brings in over several million dollars in turnover.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Accountable and responsible for the regional sales strategy for the region and for achieving (and over delivering) sales plan for the region across all product segments (diagnostic, surgical, and imaging).
• Assess, own and strengthen the right distributor partnerships to deliver growth across the entire product portfolio in the entire region
• Manage and balance direct, distributor and digital sales channels
• Set-up digital sales channels in the region
• Source, manage and close business development/B2B deals (device, pharma, retail) that are consistent with the company’s strategy for revenue growth and long-term partnership across all product segments
• Build the company's presence and create market pull across the region in hospitals, medical schools, surgery centers, government institutions, residency programs, optometry schools, and other channels through meaningful and targeted field visits

 
You will need:

• Sales experience within ophthalmology or medical devices across the APAC region
• Experience with managing distributors
• Be able to speak English
• Have good international travel links from your location
